Whitchurch Singers

An informal singing group in the market town

of Whitchurch, Shropshire

The Whitchurch Singers are leading a ‘Sing-Along’ in the Market Hall during the Christmas Market on Friday 16th December between 10:00am and 12 midday. All donations received will be divided between the Alzheimer’s Society which provides support and advice for people with Alzheimer’s and their carers, and the Whitchurch Singers who aim to give people in the community the opportunity to enjoy the many benefits of singing e.g. an enriched and heightened state of well-being.

The order of the songs is:

1. – Merry Christmas Everyone – keyboard
2. – O Holy Night (1st verse twice, no second verse) – keyboard
3. – Let it Snow (sung twice) – keyboard
4. – Rocking Around the Christmas Tree – KARAOKE
5. – Little Drummer Boy – KARAOKE
6. – Holly Jolly Christmas – KARAOKE
7. – Winter Wonderland (version starting ‘Sleigh Bells Ring’) – KARAOKE

If there is time after this, we will just start at the top of the list again.

At the very end, we’ll sing

8.- We Wish You a Merry Christmas KARAOKE

Monday 12th December will be the last meeting of 2022. The group will be meeting again on Monday 16th January, 2023

We meet at The Watergate Centre from 7pm until 8:30pm
